I have a.243 WSSM upper built by Mike at DTI that I don't use. It has been shot less than 200 times and now just sits in the safe.. It will shoot 60 grain Berger flat base bullets at 3800 fps. When I had this built the goal was to get 4k out of an AR. I got there with no problem using the Nosler 55's (4008 fps) but the best accuracy is at 3800 to 3850 fps using 60 grain FB. It has 274 rounds down the pipe. 100 loaded rounds and 100 pieces of new Winchester brass along with dies.
 
Edit:that was a 6dti not a wssm in the classifieds

I always thought about doing a 243 wssm upper but my 6x6.8 does pretty good.
