I got a call from a landowner about hog damage in his hay fields so I drove up to see if I could catch them in the act and sure enough I did.
The landowner went out with me to show me where they had been rooting and I gave him my scanner to watch the action. I had told him to stay shoulder to shoulder with me but he got a little distracted and ended up a little too far from me so I had to stop until he moved.
The hay was high and I am not even sure what the final head count was. The main thing is some are dead and the rest got run out of the field for a while. I'll be back up to hit this sounder again soon.
EDIT.....The landowner found 5 in the field and another one in the woodline.
