Scope for Hawkeye UL 204

I have a Hawkeye UL in 204 coming later this week and am wondering what scope to put on it.

Gun is mainly used for coyotes with the occasional crow or other varmints tossed in. Shot can reach 400+ but its been a while since I killed a coyote at anything over 300 yards.

Whittakers had the Redfield Revolution 3-9x at a very good price and I know they are pretty good for the money but am also thinking about a Leupold 6x36mm for general ease of use and super ruggedness.

What are you guys using on the short light rifles?
 
3-9x40 is the most popular size scope sold. there is a good reason for that.

I looked at the newer Sig whiskey 3 in 3-9 the other day and was very impressed with the optical quality as well as the overall build. Pretty nice scope and glass wise I'd put it up there with some pretty well respected scopes. It was $219 for the 3-9×50
