Lucky duck remote question

On the lucky duck revolt is there a way to dim the remote without turning the sound off? It seems like lt is very bright even on the night time setting. It doesn't dim automatically for at least a full minute. And when you press the off button it shuts the sound off as well as dims it. Any help would he great. Thanks
 
There are 3 scan buttons on the left side of the remote.Press and hold one of the 3 scan buttons, top one is for day mode, middle is for dawn and dusk, bottom one is for night mode.
