I know I'm the one that should be doing the smithing but I don't play with a forge much. I'm a farrier and have a few warn out farrier's rasps laying around. I'm looking for someone more skilled than me to turn them into door hinges for an upcoming log home I'm building.

I'm just looking for them to be basically folded in half with an opening in the center for me to run a bolt through to hold the hinges together and some holes drilled in them so I can bolt them to the door. Maybe a little simple design with the tang end would be nice also.

 
Rendezvous would be a good place to find a local guy. Minn. might also have a blacksmith guild.

knife makers would also dabble in some of this work.
