Yes it is,Shane. On the bright side, NRA does not endorse, or even rate new candidates based solely on their answers on the questionnaire and there are a lot of new candidates this year.
Endorsements come only after their actions after the election.

That's why it is so important for all gun owners to be informed and keep the pressure on the politicos.
