Dogbone here. Been dormant for years. Last post in 2012. Moved from NJ to NC (no groundhogs in Brunswick County) in 2013. A year later my wife was diagnosed with dementia. Have been caring for her since then. A year ago she had to be placed outside the home. Very sad.

Reason for post. At some point would love to get back into hunting the infamous whistle pig. Wondering if any of my fellow Virginia hunters would be willing to host some trips to their state. Can't do it now, but if you have an interest in helping me out, let me know so I can contact you in the future. Thanks guys!
 
Sorry to hear about the wife. ‘Whistle pig’ is a regular groundhog it seems. Hopefully that works out for you, if not look at other options.

Yep. Know that. Just looking to line up some hunting companions in VA when the time comes.
