Caught this dark phase young female in the field last night. I didn't take time to get out the 6mm Parvo and thermal. I took the shot at 125 yds. with my Ruger Predator 243 and Photon 4.6XT with a doubler attached. Unfortunately I had to use the weapon mounted IR so they video isn't the best and there is white out blindness at the shot as well. I didn't find any visible entry or exit.

58 V-max. I've had very good fur results with them, but I don't save fur here so doesn't make much difference for me. Often don't get an exit and sometimes can't find the entry either as on this one. Pushing them about 3,850 fps. I shoot 55 Nosler Ballistic tips in the 6mm Parvo (6x45) and they almost always have an exit. Pushing them just under 3,400 in that setup. They kill good, but do have more penetration than the 58 V-max from my experience.
