Butler Creek Covers for Nikon Coyote Special

Hi,
Not sure if anyone cares, but here is some info I wanted to share.


Just got a Savage 11 Trophy Predator in .243 that came with a Nikon SA 3-9X40 Coyote Special (Matte)

The scope measures 1.538 (38.9mm) at the eye piece and 1.867 (47.28 mm) at the objective.

Butler Creek Scope Covers

Eye Piece: 10 Eye 1.516” (38.5 mm)

Objective: 27 OBJ 1.840” (46.7 mm)

These covers fit this scope perfectly.

Sounds like useful info to me. So I guess add about 25 hundredths to their measurements to match actual scope specs, Right?

Yes, I did not find an exact fit for the scope so selected the size under as close as I could get to the scope measurements. I didn't know if there was any stretch to the covers but they went on with firm pressure and fit well.
