Recently switched my Trail to a bolt action from an AR and the eye relief was way too much to get close to the scope.. I have the DLOC mount.
To move the scope back some I flipped the mount so the knob was on the right side of the rifle, and then used the 1st and 3rd forward most screw holes in the scope and the two more widely separated holes in the DLOC (the third screw hole sits off the front of the scope). That brought me back a good 1.5". So I'm only running it with 2 screws. Torqued to 20 in lbs and blue loctite'd. Seems ok so far, anyone else doing this with success?
