soi know trapping season is over but the other day i was out on my grandparents farm and found this big ol live trap. it looks to madeout of rebar and has to weigh like 200lbs. has a drop down door thats released when something tugs bait attached to a wire that is attached to a pin holding the door up. i asked him about it and he said its been there for years and years and to take it. it is rusted but very solid and all the welds are good.
question is, would a coyote use it? my thought was to go set it out where i plan to trap, bait near it and around it all summer to get them used to it. then eventually set it come trap season
