107 grain Sierra 6.5

shot them in a 6.5BR 2900fps. Grouped great but lousy kill rates on deer and coyotes. to many pass through's with no expansion.

You need the 107 Sierra TMK, we have killed 32 coyotes with them since the 1st of the year here in Michigan using mostly a 6.5 Grendel at 2680 fps and they have performed very good but not fur friendly, they usually leave about a 1"-1 1/2" exit hole. We have taken 3 of them using a 6.5 Creedmoor at just shy of 3100 fps with the same results.

Sierra don't normally recommend target bullets for hunting but with the Tipped Match Kings they have a bigger hole in the end and the plastic tip makes them expand rapidly and reliably, on shots at longer distances I have been getting pass through's but the other night I had a coyote at 55 yards quartering toward me and it did not exit.
