Alright fellas,
While most were at SHOT, we were here pounding not only fur, but banging out some new legislation for our great state.
I present to you HB 1219
I will post a link up at the end of the paragraph.
Woke up this at 2 a.m. and once again headed to the Capital building, to testify in front of the House Ag Committee. I testified as a proponent to amend the current law, so that the landowner does not have to be present with the hunter, instead he may give written consent.
This has honestly been more work than fun, taking time from family, work, and filming, to do something I think is right, and will benefit many sportsman, such as yourselves.
What still gets me, is not only do I have to testy against a state agency with basically unlimited lobbying funds, but they use our money to lobby against us, all the while bridging the gap for out of state hunters in giving them a prime opportunity to professionally present themselves to not only our states but our nations top tier producers.
I'll ask all of you for help who support this, and those who think money is more important than rights, or who you work with, it's whatever, as I've now been a part of politics from angles I've never thought I'd experience.
