Mass Shooting Rates

we come out favorably in the per capita rate, but we come out badly on the frequency. i guess when it happens in other countries it's not as often but maybe more per attack?

I recently did a bit of research on murder rates around the world and found this listing. It was very interesting to find out that MANY countries in Central and South America have murder rates far exceeding those in the US. Don't suppose that the illegal immigrants fleeing these most violent countries are contributing to the murder rate in the US, do you? Naaah, that couldn't be, just ask Nancy.

Another interesting study of Intentional Homicides per 100,000 population World Wide shows the US ranks #83

The police are pretty much the janitors of society, they clean up the messes after they happen. The police and court system are not in a very good position, by their nature to prevent shootings. Anyone that doesn't think they have to be responsible for their own safety is sadly mistaken.
