I have a CS24c w TX1k remote and I finally got around to organizing my sounds and when I updated the remote something went haywire and now I don't have catagories opening screen is as follows
Favorites/Presets
Fox cast
Sound list
Normally it would just go direct to my Catagory list.
I should have known better than start messin with stuff.

Try this:

1. At the opening screen, press the "Back" button.
2. Scroll down to "TX1000 Settings"
3. Scroll down to "View:", and press "Select".
4. Scroll down from "Sound List" to "Categories".
5. Press "Select" to save your change.

Hope that works for you.

1) Plug in remote to computer via USB cable. (Have batteries in remote and remote off)

2) Turn on remote

3) Find TX1000 in desktop tool bar and right click.

4) Find ‘Format’ and click.

5) Make sure ‘Quick Format’ has check in box next to it.

6) Start Format.

7) Once Format has completed, remove remote from computer like you usually do.

Should be good any questions just ask.

I have the 4 new sounds on my remote but only if it’s set on sound listing. They are not in the categories. I just put them in my presets and switched back to categories. At one point I had no sounds at all so I’m glad everything is back.

My only peeve with a CS24 is that there is no access to usb port from outside the call. I wish there was a provision for that. If Foxpro said that they could do that Id send mine in today.
