Changing my bird hunting philosophy - need O/U recommendations

I believe there were/are some individual or small shops as I've seen a couple of Japanese copies of English guns that have Japanese lettering on the flats and Japanese proof marks that can't be attributed to one of the major makers.

Sort of strange that Japan has so many good firearms that come here under other names. Both rifles and shotguns.
