Ruger American Predator 22-250 load question.

the 250 is mainly coyote with the 65SGK, then PD's with 55gr Varmageddons and reach out with 75gr Amax.

IMR 4064 has been pretty darn reliable in any 22-250 I have tried it in with 50-55 grain bullets.

My venture predator 22-250 loves varget with 50gr vmax and vmax molys. Has downed every coyote from 100-350 yards whether it was 40 degrees outside or -20.

My 250 is improved. I use a stiff load of Varget and 52 grain Berger.

For powders I really like Varget and 4064. Bergers and Sierra MKs seem to shoot a little more accurately for me than most other bullets. If your gun is a 1-12, don’t hesitate to try the 40g bullets if the 50-55s don’t satisfy you. I have an LVSF that started shooting lights out when I tried a 40g Nosler BT.
