Baiting for mink and weasel

I'm up in Sask Canada and am new to trapping. I bought few dozen Belisle 120's and build boxes for them and hope to trap some mink or weasel. Whats the best bait for mink, and where is the best spots to set for them? I set my boxes on some open parts of a creek and used some cat food, fish and poultry. I just went ice fishing today and got a pail full of perch so can use those too.
Any tips or advice for rookie trapper??

Cheers!!

Over the past 15 years I've trapped many skunks with just plain ole dry cat food. Don't see why it wouldn't work in your situation also.

I mainly blind set for them. Also, you can bend the triggers and install some 1/4" mesh and make like a step. The target will jump up in the step to look in behind it and fire the trap. You do have to set the trap with the dog down(upside down) to conventional methods.
For super cold baiting, a heavy oily fish. Salmon, mackeral and be ready for whatever trash critters you have.
