First time out hunting with the trail xq30. Took the third shot to finally connect.Don't quite have the scope figured out and definitely need to go practice with it.
 
Nice to get one down with thermal. It is very hard to see your crosshair on your thermal. Maybe try the M56Fi reticle if you like the black hot. I do like black hot a lot. I am still playing with reticle options myself but I do like the M56Fi reticle with a black hot palette. Here is a sample on my Trail XQ38

I agree...you should definitely switch out that reticle. Would make aiming a whole lot easier.
