DPMS Oracle ?

Anyone replace the hand guard on their DPMS Oracle? The standard one is 9 inches long,I'd like to go to a free floating 13 inch one. Which one did you choose ,or can you recommend one .The gun has no front sights and is flat top. I would just like to get one and not have to go through the process of changing out the gas block. Thank you for your help

I used mine for a build. Did a 18" X-caliber threaded barrel for a suppressor, a D-tech rifle length hand guard, and a JP Enterprises adjustable gas block. Carefully assembled by me. Shoots about .60-.75 of an inch with the limited factory ammo I've tried. Been very happy so far.
 
If you want to do a free-float tube, the gas block has to come off anyway. You might as well upgrade to a steel low-profile gas block at the same time. They'll be slimmer and will fit better under your free float tube.

I haven't had an Oracle in my hands, so forgive my ignorance, but don't they just have a set-screw type gas block on them?
