Camaru is one of my arch-nemisis woods. I hate working with it. The only reason I have it is because a bunch of guys wanted some crow calls made from it.
Anyways...this call is turned from camaru, which is hard and heavy, its kinda of turd brown color, has an oil/wax finish and comes with a black 550 cord lanyard. I have it tuned raspy cottontail and it does scream. Hate the wood, but it does give good sound.

This one is super plain cherry. I also have it tuned cottontail, also a screamer. Oil/wax finish inside out, with a black 550 cord lanyard.
