Took my buddy John out Friday.. his last day for him to put meat in the freezer.. thanks to a cooperative landowner below the public land we were hunting.. We were able to bring this one out whole. Doesn't happen that way for us very often.. Very thankful..
Difficult shot at 400 yards on him bedded. My kimber in 6.5 creed was used.. We dialed 7 minutes per my chart..he held right on and the bull was dead in 10 seconds. 143 eldx passed thru and destroyed the lungs..Very pleased with it's performance..
 
It's nice to have help especially when everything clicks.
The smell of success is short lived when it becomes the smell of work.
 
Dandy bull, great shooting, and some real luck on getting him out!!
