Calhoun double hollow points.

I'm thinking about ordering some of these and trying them out. Has anyone ever loaded any up and shot coyotes with them and how did they do for you? As far as accuracy and pelt damage I mean.

I shot a lot of them on grounds squirrels and jack rabbits, I changed over to a 55g Winchester soft point for coyotes, which never let me down. In a 223, with 26.5g of win 748, not many went through a coyote.

The double HP are very, very explosive and I like the ability to shoot through hip joints and shoulders.

Yeah I figured they be a little too explosive for coyotes. I planned on getting some to shoot in a .221 Fireball,.223 and maybe even some of the 52gr hollow points to shoot in my .22-250 just to say I've shot those bullets. I just wasn't sure if they'd have what it takes to punch through a shoulder or if they'd splash and leave one heck of a hole but no dead coyote.
