I found a couple blanks in the shop of a wood that rarely comes up. It is from a sycamore burl I cut in southern Ohio a few years ago. I'd forgotten about it, but now I'm really glad I came across it again.
The stock is light in color, and the last three pictures will show close up shots of the grain and figuring. It is really cool!!
A blend of light oils rubbed into the wood, and a MaxWax topper, make a really nice field finish. It glows, but is not glossy.
The Bunny Bomb tone board has the standard 'high pitched and easy to blow' tuning.
If you're new to hand calling, I'd be glad to get on the phone with you after you get the call and go over the basics with you.
Let's end an auction at the stroke of 6:00 PM EST on Saturday the 21st. Time stamps prior to 6:00 are good, but if it starts with a 6 (6:XX) it's too late.
I'll cover domestic postage and tracking.
Information about international shipping is in my sig line.
Anyone start it for $15?
Regards, friends!
