6.5x55 swede vs scan dies. Will they work?

I ordered a set of 6.5x55 swede dies to reload for my uncle. I ordered them through brownells and they sent me 6.5x55 Scandinavian dies. From what I have read, these will work for the swede, the only difference is the neck is .006 longer on the scan. Can anyone confirm this is true?

Any help is much appreciated!

Shoot with gent that has a 6.5x55 Scan cartridge rifle built on a Rem 700 action. He achieves some fairly high velocity with his reloads in it.

Shelton573, to answer your question on the neck. I once asked my Scan owner basically what's the difference between the SKan 6.5x55 and standard 6.5x55 cartridge. As I recall, his answer was the neck is longer on the scan allowing him to get a little more powder in his loads. Mind you, he generally starts pretty near the max recommended MAX load for a standard 6.5x55 cartridge and works up his load from there.
