29lb male tonight

We set up tonight in a cow pasture and as soon as I started scanning with the thermal I saw two targets out maybe 300 yds. We turned on the scopes and confirmed that they were coyotes mousing. I was using the new 850nm IR from Night Eyes and I could see them clearly.
I selected Vole Squeaks and they looked but did not seem interested. I switched to Young Rabbit Distress and here they come. I killed the one that I was on, the other one got away.

Thermal is a Pulsar Helion XP28, NV scope is my old tried and true Night Optics D760.

I've decided to try your style of hunting them. Just bought a Pulsar
Quantum Lite XQ23V Thermal Monocular to scan with, and a Pulsar DigiSight N960 NV scope. Hope I get half the results you have been getting the past few years.
