We go hunting in Maine every fall for grouse and have been using the Delorme gazetteer for ever. The problem is the area we hunt is on 2 different pages that are not next to each other in the book. Delorme use to print custom maps at there store near Free Port and since the merger with garmin the store does not exist nor does the service. we would like to get a map of the area with out having to flip pages back and forth.

Any idea where to get a map?

mytopo.com is good. The map can be adjusted to target exactly where you want, it's larger than the usual USGS map so it covers more area and it's printed on some tough water resistant paper. That's not to say you can't eventually wear it out because you can but you'll get your money's worth before you do. I always have a printed map and a quality compass in my pack. I enjoy navigating with the compass, plus I don't like relying on electronics.
