Been getting out off and on the last few weeks, mostly checking out new ground for this winter. Found a spot that I have heard some coyotes respond so I spent an hour or so working the property. Was headed out at last light and sporadically making some female howls. Got a group fairly close light up on me, I quickly set up with nothing but a diaphragm in my mouth. Couple more howls, and then my best attempt at pup distress. In they came hard charging and the versamax lit up on them at 20yards. The last one dirt rolled on the last round I had in the gun at 40yds. This stand will be tough to beat...
