Best powder options for 7mm Rm and heavy bullets.

I don't shoot that caliber but I have used the Hodgdon Hybrid 100V in another caliber and liked it real real well. It is a good powder for several of the magnum calibers.

IMR 7828 would be a good choice and you can always find it even when there ain't much around! RL 26 may be good also but I've never tried it and has been hard to find most the time.

I have shot tons of IMR 4064 in the 7mag also with very good results...

Cant say on the 4350 but if you have the 4831 it will work good also.

I use RL26 and 215M with 180's in my 7mm Blaser Mag which is a near twin to the 7mm Rem Mag. In a 26in tube I get 3050fps with Berger 180's. H4831 is another excellent powder but I get nearly 100fps more with RL26.

I use H1000 with my 168gr Berger Classic Hunters with great results. RL22,25,and 26 should be good. 7828, 4831 and Retumbo also should work well.

I used RE-22 with great success in a 7 Rem Mag and 140's. Good speeds and excellent accuracy.

Retumbo with fed 215's, 168's shoots bug holes at 3050 fps in my 700.

R#25 with a win Magnum primer would be a good place also.

Both of the above powders will be very fast and accurate.

H1000 will not get the speeds of the above powders.

Ok, none of my manuals nor the alliant website show load data for reloader26 and 175 gr pill.
Anyone have any info? I already know, start low and work up. Just looking for book low/high data for reference.

I was reading where a guy was getting 3000 fps out of the 180g with 26 in his 7 RM, 24".

Alliant told me they have no recorded data for re26 and 175gr bullets.
