Prairie Dogs around Crosby, ND

Does anybody know if there are any prairie dogs around the Crosby, ND area? I am going out there next week for work and I will have some short days, so I would like to do some prairie dog hunting while I have some down time. If there are none in the area, how far would I have to drive to find them? Thanks in advance for any info.
 
None at all, will need to go to the west side of the Missouri. South of Williston, Sioux county, Slope county etc. no one concentration, they are where you find them. When I first moved out here almost 30 years ago it was different, I could point you in a certain direction and you find at least some, no more. When the envirmentalist bunny huggers started talking protecting them, farmers and ranchers poisoned 1000's of acres. I no longer hunt the Standing Rock reservation but there are a fare number of dog towns left. I don't know if they still do but the gas station at the casino sold res hunting licenses and would give you names and directions to ranches with dogs, might be worth a try. Mandan Sporting Goods on Main Street may be able to help if either Joe or Brandan are there.
