Lately if I go to answer a post and click on the box I get a pop up of a search engine results for the latest postings here. It's powered by Google. It doesn't come up every time.

Am I just crazy or?

If you quote a post that happens. Maybe some other actions as well but that's the only one I know of. It's caused by the latest incarnation of the google custom search engine.
 
Worst "glitch" is the inability to view or post embeds. Any chance that might change or is the only solution to change browser?

that was caused by youtube. it's allegedly possible to fix it but I haven't figured it out.

videos still display in Firefox.
