Last Saturday I got a couple of young pigs on two quick shots. The second was running but not fast enough and got lucky on a head shot.

I pulled the little back straps and boned out the hams. Made some fine chili verde pork tacos on Sunday.

This morning I dropped a nice boar with some good cutters. I think he was right around 200 pounds.

That's a nice boar there. We have been in a killer drought last six months and now tropical torrential rains seem to have really turned them on but the mosquitoes suddenly are murder once again.

Heat here has them totally laid up. The little puddles in the Creeks will soon dry up and force them to the larger pools of water and I will be waiting.

Two Hunts and only one Hog sighted.
