Chuck Hunt #4 using Scope Cam and .223

This is part 4 of the 2017 Chuck Hunt. In this video, I put my scope cam on my .223 to record the footage. I built a 20 Vartarg to make scope cam videos, but people were saying you should try a larger caliber. I knew the kick would be a problem, but you do get to see the chuck come down from orbit after the rifle settles down from the kick.

3 to 5 hours depending on which state I hunt. I tried a new spot this hunt, so I drove 4 hours to get there. Didn't need to go that far. It's always nice to hunt a new area and find new spots. I see chucks everywhere I go. I wanted to hunt Wyoming this last weekend, but my shooter / camera man said he was going fishing so I went by my self.
This was a self filmed hunt.

CH,Nice videos. What brand is the brass catcher you have on the .223? It looks like it fits your rifle pretty good. I just got my Grendel put together and need one. Can't stand to loose the $1 a piece brass.

Take a close look at these sites. I like this one much better than the 'large' bag model by Caldwell with the Nylon bag, that one melts.
You can have 3Bucc custom build one to your liking.

http://www.3bucc.com

Or buy a pre made one from many companies that buy from 3bucc and the have them sitting one the shelf.

Brownells has the model for the handle but not the flat top.

Thank you. I make it look easier then it really is. I have a big screen on my DVR and I have a big magnifying lens to help see the screen.
Thank you for your comment. Most of the scope cam videos you see are shooting rats with a pellet gun or pig / fox hunting with a dedicated night vision scope.
This video is out of the norm. I enjoy making and watching scope cam video.
Night AND day.
