I have not been out chasing hogs lately so I loaded up my electric cart and headed out last night to see if I could find some swine.
My first stop was at my favorite hayfield and I got set up at my feeder just before dark. The field is grown up and the wind was a little shaky so I positioned myself as far from the feeder as I could get and still see a hog in the high grass.
About 20 mins after full dark a big boar eased in to get some corn. He was real skittish and spooked off of the feeder 2 times before I could get enough of him in sight for a shot. The third time he came in I put him down with the 6.5 Grendel.
I just left my recorder running as I pulled up to the feeder to finish him off.
