just wanted to hear some imput

so I have 6.5 creedmoor and a 6.5x47 lapua
I have to say with 130 and 140 vld my
6.5 x 47 out does the 6.5 creedmoor by 100-150 fps with the same bullet also way more accurate 1/4 moa or better same exampel 130 vld out of the 6.5 x47 lapua @3025 1/4 moa out of creedmoor 2910 5/8 moa

I also have a 6x47lapua and 6 creed
same thing 105 vld out of the 6x47 lapua @3180
out of the 6 creedmoor 3075
my 6x47 lapua accuracy is also better
but by as much probly less than a 1/4 moa

all guns have 24" #5 contor 3 groove 8 twist
liljs

so my pick would be 47 lapua in both guns

That's some smoking velocity out of the 6.5x47L with a 24" & the 130

Pretty hot on the 6 version as well. Mine all shot better a little less "hot".

I agree the x47L does tend to shoot a little better. Not saying every single one, but as a whole if you wrap them all into one...

yes we load them very hot but the pockets last 10 loading or more on the x47 .my creeds are only lasting about 4 loadings .I do think the small primer pockets have a lot to do with it .I might have to bring in some small primer creed brass and try it. I put lots of guns togather and as rule of thumb the all across the country it very similar.

That's not smoking hot that's blazing freakin hot!!!

Love to know what that load is that'll get you 3025fps w/130 grainer out of a 6.5x47 Lap.

I run 3240fps from my 6mm Creedmoor with 105's and it has a 24 inch barrel. Not sure how long my brass will go as I have not worn any out yet.

I'm into the 20+ loadings on some x47L brass and they are still going strong. Of course I have some 6BR lapua brass that's almost 50 fired so I'm not uderly surprised. I've lost a LOT more to the ground than I have to split necks and never one to a loose pocket.

The lapua brass thing makes the Creed much more attractive but ain't no stank on the x47 yet.

Holy chit! Im getting 2950 out of a 20".....can't decide on sticking with the Creedmor or going x47 on the next barrel. Whatever it is, it will probably be 26" since it's just a target rifle.

I have ran 6xc also its on par with the other 2 6mm .This is my 3rd 6x47 my last one ran 3211 with the 105 vld. current one does beter at 3160s.

I must have let net and flavors of the day get
to me over the years . I now have 3 verry nice guns that just do it for me .

A 6.5 creedmoor verry nice gun for most just no me.

A 308 win 2011 fullbore match the 6 and 6.5
take it to school at extended range

6.5 saum 4s pressure monsters with 140 class bullets I did just get the new reamer for heaver bullets. and the 1st gun looks good
It might change my mind on this round.
