Another bait pile coyote

I took this male about 12:30 last night on the bait pile. I thought some of you who are interested in thermal scopes might benefit from seeing it.

Don't matter who benefits, I like watching it. DU, you and I are the few who can shoot from the house, I just wish I had the coyote participation you do. Nice shot!

Yep, DoubleUp sure does have a lot of coyotes in his neck of the woods.

Been sort of quiet on the pile last 10 days, but my hunting buddy did kill one we called last night. Could have been a double, but as you know stuff happens, and it seems like coyote hunting most always has some stuff. He is shooting a Photon 6.5 and the shot was just under 100 yds.

Very nice. Been looking at thermal lately and that video isn't helping the problem.

Niteyote1, my buddy has been very successful going from his thermal scanner to his Photon 6.5 without losing the target. I wasn't nearly as good at it, and went thermal all the way. The Photon certainly makes for easier ID and better video, and is a whole lot cheaper than thermal.
