So I went fishing in the creek that borders my place.

Had been fishing for about 15min under a rail bridge... No bites so I turned around.

I heard something behind me and turned around to see a coyote taking off on the west side of creek.

So I turned back around and went towards the log jam. I was looking to see if there was a den site or something.

As I approached the jam, I see another coyote coming out into the log jam looking for the one that ran off.

I drew as soon as I saw it and when it came out on log, it turns and looks at me, but I already had my sight picture... Bang , she spin and ran way she came, I shot another as she ran.

Had to turn around go back to bridge to get out of yak. Walked towards where she ran to was laying 35 yds from where I shot her.

wow, that's awesome. I like your signature at the bottom of your posts..........It made me think that I probably couldn't hit a cape buffalo with a handgun at point blank range let alone a coyote at 25 yards. good shootin'

As if these animals aren't hard enough to hunt with a rifle, full camo, calls, etcetera, you lay one down from a kayak...with a handgun!

Very nice, and a great story to go along with it!
