Anybody ever try one with an 8 or 9 twist shooting the bigger bullets out to 500ish? Std. OAL works fine in mags. even with 80 ELD-M's.
 
I purchased 17 fireball barrel many years ago from a gentleman that told me he consistently rang 600yd steel with a 221 FB and 69 gainers in a 1x9. So yes i would say it is very doable.

I'd be curious to know what combination buffer/spring and gas block to use. One of my favorite all around pd chambering is the .221 and I have brass and a donor upper that needs a barrel.
