Stag Arms Model 7 Clip

Recently got a Model7 Hunter in 6.8 spc that I really like and it came with just a 5 round clip and I ordered a 10 round clip from Stag and I Was surprised when it came it is physicaly identical. Is there a way to disasemble the 5 round clip and pull a plug or spacer and turn the 5 round into a 10 rounder?
 
Does the base plate look like a standard set up? If so you ought to be able to just slide that out and remove the plug but you may well need a new spring depending how they did the block.

Just pull the bottom off of the magazine and see. I've seen 5 rounders that just had a spring from a much larger mag and it was bunched up and stuffed in there to limit the capacity.
