Nosler RDF bullets

'Hollow point match bullet'? That being said, doesn't seem like the best bullet for hunting, especially big game.

I know we there are endless 'premium' hunting bullets available. It makes it hard to contemplate hunting with less than the highest rated, wherever that rating may come from.

I did some testing for my Elk hunt last Fall & ended up with a simple 165 grain Sierra gameking and H-3450 in my 300WSM. We drove all the way to CO to each get one shot, mine was a 30 yard neck shot. My partner had the one shot result at 100 yards with his 30-06.

I'm one of those guys that thinks placement 'Trumps' relatively minor differences in bullet construction. If one is one the upper game range of a given cartridge, say 243 for elk, bullet selection can be very critical.

I would think the 70gr would be coyote poison! I have a custom 223 bolt gun that I run 77SMKs and it does awesome on killing coyote.
