Brad Watkins made this knife for me using D2 steel and spalted maple scales. He really does some excellent work in my opinion. Not the equal of Frost Cutlery or some of the other assembly line knives, but he tried really hard to match them.

Kidding aside, I really like his work and turn around time was very good also.

Thanks GC. It is very clean and Brads designs really caught my eye. This one was one was a design he usually makes in a larger platform. I ask him if it could be scaled down some and that was the result.
7 1/2" overall
3 3/8" of usable blade

That's a beaut.

I don't usually care for mosaic pins but that single pin is very subtle.

The sheath's a work of art....he's got talent.

One of my two favorite steels to boot.

Yep....it's official....I definitely like it.

Looking at those scales again... I love spalted wood. Properly prepped it's a thing of beauty.

Thanks. He does really good sheath work.

I wondered if you had heard of him Charlie. He really details them out very nicely.

I don't have much need for anything larger. This one is perfect for me.
The stock is one that I made for one of my Kimbers. I love dark English Walnut.
