Made some loads today with h4831sc from 43gr-46gr. 5 loads per 1/2 gr intervals.
43gr-45.5gr shot great(1/2 moa or less)with no pressure signs.
46gr showed pressure signs so I stopped.
Ended up with 45.5gr and a win lr primer at 2650fps from a 24" barrel.
All loads made with hornady 143 eldx.

Thanks for the info. I have a box of those, some Sierra 142 GK, and some Hornady 129's to work with. My best loads so far have been with Hornady 140 BTHPs and IMR-4350. I'm still pretty new to the 6.5 but am really enjoying it.
 
Same here Hor 140 with IMR 4350 is smoking out of my Savage. I basically was able to duplicate the 120 amax load with IMR 4350 as well. Very accurate in my gun too.
