Raye of twist for specific rifles questions.

Hi all. I have a couple questions. Help appreciated. First I have a Rem. 700 sps in .243 with 24inch barrel. According to Remington has a 1:9 1/8 inch twist. Theoratically what bullet weight shoud perform best accuracy wise?
Second question? I just bought a Rem mod 760 Gamemaster. 1952 model. Sexy! Any idea the rate of twist and barrel length? Thanks in advance!!

The Gamemaster is 1:16 in the 22"

That could be a tricky question but usually a 9.125 twist will shoot up to the 100 gr soft points and the 87gr VLDs in mine anyway.

Would say it depends on what your using it for? For varmints or coyotes I would say anywhere from 55-87. And for deer I would start at 85 and go up from there. Sometimes you just have to try a bullet and see if your gun will shoot.
