Eurasian Collared Dove decoy hunt.

The other day a friend of mine and I had a good Eurasian Collared Dove hunt.

We have portable blinds and set out Mourning Dove Decoys and Eurasian Collared Dove decoys. We also had 7 Mojo Spinning wing decoys.

On this day we ended up getting 33 Collared Dove and 12 Mourning Dove. We passed up shooting at lots of the Mourning Dove because the Collared Dove were working the decoys.

There is no limit on the Collared Dove.

Knock em out, Collared Doves are always on the hit list around here. An invasive species that will never go away.

Yes we did get some Mourning Dove also. The season is open through Dec 26th for Mourning Dove in California.
