Resizing primed cases?

Because of an oversight I need to resize several 45 acp already primed cases. It looks to me that the RCBS decaping rod and pin do nothing in the straight wall case but knock the primer out. My plan is to remove the rod and size away. Will it work?

Yep, no problem. Size away! I prefer to prime off the press so with pistol I clean, prime, then size, ect
