Just thought I'd run this past the guys in this forum. Do you guys think that the 223 has enough vel./wind./energy/terminal effect to get it to 600ish yds. on predators in good conditions with the newer polymer-tipped VLD type bullets? There was at one time a VLD magazine that would allow for more case capacity allowing for about .25" more case length. May be getting this magazine up and running again. In your estimation would this be a magazine that would sell? Just FYI the new Horn. 80 gr. ELD-M boasts a BC of .485--

[beeep] ya it would sell I know a lot of people who would love to have one of those vld magazines. To me that's one of the biggest problems with ars is the magazine restrictions.
