#54 was a red one

Went to the lease this morning to help one of the guys work on a some stands. Got there early to sit on one of my stands before meeting him to set up his stands.

I had a fawn and small 8 point come to the feeder right after it went off at 7:30. About 10 after 8 I noticed the buck looking hard into the woods and figured the hogs were coming. Sure enough the deer spooked and 2 sows and about 6 or 7 pigs came out. Most of the corn was already gone so they were not standing still, but I managed to shoot one of the sows between the eyes at about a 120 yards. One of the sows was read and one was black but I went for the red one.
A couple of the pigs stood for a secord or 2 and I tried to shoot another. I heard a squeal a the shot, but found nothing and could not confirm enough to tell me I had #55 dead on the ground, but likely cripple or dead.

This one went into the ice chest as it was pretty nice hog.

Don't see red ones without black spots very often. Looks like it will be fine eating as well. That's a nice lease you've got there.
