I hear good things about the Bartz. This is my 5th 2.5x10 vortex. In my opinion it's the best hunting power range for me. Iv killed close to 100 coyotes thru this scope from 30-450 yards and never take it off 2.5X. I recently got a PST in the same power for the lighted reticle and deer hunting the woods. It's on my 6x45 now. Alot of people say the Viper line has poor glass quality but I'm just a river rat that likes to kill things, so they suffice
