***Wyoming Federation of Houndsmen Meeting***
1pm
Saturday, September 3
Casper, Wyoming
Hampton Inn (off Poplar exit)
We recently held a meeting with quite a few houndsmen in attendance and it was decided and agreed upon that we should get ourselves formally organized. There are several issues coming up that will directly affect the houndsmen of this state and we need to make sure that we are represented in front of the state legislature as well as the Wy G&F Commission.
It is hoped that we can get houndsmen from around the state to join us in Casper, so that we may go over the different issues we'll be working on getting through the legislature during this next session. One of the main things will be getting hound hunting formally recognized and protected. Other issues we'll be working toward are pursuit seasons as well as getting the needed authority to the G&F Commission so they may better deal with the hunter overcrowding problems.
There is going to be alot of ground being covered in this meeting and we need the participation of hound hunters in this start. I encourage everyone to attend and bring your questions and concerns.
If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to shoot me a pm or give me a call.
