Pictures of a 12" handguard on a rifle lenght gas system?

Anybody have pictures of a 12" handguard on a rifle lenght gas system. I'm changing Handguards and like the aero precision but can't go over my gas block with a 15" so I have to go with there 4" but would that expose 1/2" of my gas tube? Don't want it to look tacky post pictures of you could if anybody has a setup like this.
 
How far from the end of the tube to the gas block is there? Does it actually measure 12"s or like 12.5"?

the gas tube is fully shielded by both of these handguards.
